Let rip the RIB!

Today we launched our RIB, Richmond Explorer. Chris reports from Portland Harbour.

Well, at least we got the boat down here.

The viz was awful today. First dive was on the Dredger - but never saw it! Half a metre viz. Second dive was a drift - about one metre viz if that.

Jonathan and Jennifer dived with me on the first dive because Aga’s neck seal split. I had Jonathan buddy with me on the second dive, whereas Aga was with Jennifer as she borrowed Jo’s drysuit but lost her mask so they aborted.

Wind strength varied between 18 and 25 knots from the west, but it was possible to dive on the sheltered side of Portland Bill.

Can someone please fix the visibility! At least Richmond Explorer is back in the water.
