RICHMOND EXPLORER is her name!

Updated: Mar 13

Around thirty members and their families turned up on Twickenham Embankment yesterday to celebrate the naming of our new RIB. Her name is Richmond Explorer. RSAC founder member Janet W did the honours. Scuba divers prefer to dive on a neap tide, but this ceremony happened to take place on a spring tide and rather precisely at the Twickenham high water @15.41. The photos below tell the story...

Hello to sweet humming of the new 4-stroke motor and goodbye to the old 2-stroke fuming machine.

Now, let's get some RIB diving going!
